Lake Guntersville

This gem, situated between Sand Mountain and the Cumberland Plateau, is the largest lake in Alabama and, along with Wheeler Lake, frequented by Huntsville area residents for its close proximity. The 69,000-acre lake is surrounded by mountains and natural beauty with features that include:

  • The quaint and charming town of Guntersville, almost surrounded by water, with many interesting shops and restaurants.
